Preserved the tradition of Indonesia's Javanese culture heritages

The Ramayana Ballet in Prambanan Temple differs from the original Indian epic and it beautifully reflects the adaptation to Javanese sensitivities over the years.

The Ramayana ballet uses performing arts for story telling, is  beautiful combination of art, drama & dance.
The artists perform rigorous training to perform best during the course of the event. The Ramayana Ballet performed in Prambanan Temple is basically a folklore version of the Rama involving the community surrounding.
In this drama different cycle of the life of Rama is shown beautifully, almost +/-200 dancers take part in these shows with full enthusiasm.

KITE MUSEUM

Museum layang-layang Indonesia memiliki berbagai koleksi dari seluruh pelosok Nusantara dan mancanegara, termasuk layang-layang tradisional dan modern. Mulai dari layang-layang miniatur yang berukuran dua centimeter, hingga yang berukuran besar. Bahkan Museum ini memiliki beberapa layang-layang berukuran raksasa terbesar ditanah air seperti ‘Megaray’ berukuran 9x26 meter yang dapat disewakan untuk kegiatan eksibisi.

Layang-layang dipergunakan sebagai sarana rekreasi, ritual, olahraga, photography udara dan penelitian ilmiah. Untuk kebutuhan edukasi museum ini memberikan jasa pelatihan dan telah menjalain kerjasama dengan Departemen Pendidikan Nasional. Selain itu kami juga memproduksi berbagai jenis layang-layang dan menerima pesanan khusus, menyediakan jasa dekorasi dan organiser kegiatan layang-layang dengan pengalaman mengikuti berbagai festival layang-layang didalam dan luar negeri.

Kite Museum of Indonesia owns a collection of kites from regions of Indonesia and other countries including traditional and modern kites. From miniature kite, that measures only two centimeter wide to large kites. Furthermore, The museum also own several several giants kites, the largest in the country, such as the “Megaray” that measures 9 by 26 meters that can be rented for exhibition purpose.

Kites are utilize as an instrument for recreational purpose, religious ritual, sporting, activity, aerial photography and scientific research. The museum offering kite workshop for educational purpose. For this reason the museum have established a relationship with the department of National Education. Additionally the museum produced a variety of kites and special order, decoration service and organize kiting activities based on experienced from attending numerous domestic and international kite festival.
